Crisis on Housing Plans in Australia
06/16/2010

According to the latest report regarding the house plan in Australia stated that recently the council in Sydney has announced war on the State Government’s plan to restrict developer charges, with two outlawing a new development application.

Treasurer Eric Roozendaal hoping that this Budget announcement of stamp duty decrease the recently developed house plan would be of assistance drive downs the price of homeownership. However his plan may have by now backfired with Liverpool and Camden councils in Sydney’s southwest declining regarding the approval of any new housing developments and another two leading councils are demanding for ”crisis talks”.

In accordance to the house plan answers to the crisis, almost $20,000 cap has been summoned by the developers and the abolition of stamp duty over the next two years on off-the-plan homes under $600,000.

State Government acclaims that the stamp duty taxes are a huge money spinner for them in which they are expecting to gain more than $3.6 billion from them this year.

Developers as of now are charging pay for roads, parks and drainages in new suburbs. Camden and Liverpool, have reported with the most largest councils in Sydney’s southwest, banned all new permissions after crisis briefings last night.
